We are going to "put the Cart before the Horse" by setting our website up before we have any products.
At this point our website will serve as a "heads up" to let you know what is coming, as the information center for those of you who want to "Grow Your Own" Organic food and as an information portal to inform you of others in NY State doing what we are doing.
Right now we are prepping our farm to ensure maximum production in the coming years. This entails fortifying our pasture with a varied mix of plants to ensure maximum and complete nutrition for all the animals to come.
We will be doing two things on our farm:
1) This year, we will be setting up a portion of our farm for those who want to grow their own organic food.
2) In the coming years, we will be producing organic fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, fish, shrimp, prawns, pastured poultry, rabbits, cattle, sheep and goats.
Our Farm is located in Hudson ,New York, in Columbia County.
Our produce will be sold through various channels at various locations.
If you are located in the Westchester County, we intend to offer regularly scheduled produce availability at your Office Park, Religious Institution, School, or other organization which has a large enough population to ensure we can empty the truck (Please note that you will have to arrange written permission with the Institution management for that service).
In about 3 years, we will have our livestock set up. Initially, we will be offering them live only.
We do not intend to set up a our own slaughterhouse. We will attempt to find Processors who we can refer you to for slaughter.
